Every massage is tailored to your unique needs. Below are the modalities I draw from to create your custom session.

Core Modalities

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most common and relaxing style of massage. It uses long, flowing strokes, kneading, circular movements, and gentle stretching to promote overall relaxation and improve circulation.

It's soothing, calming, and designed to relax the entire body.

BEST FOR

  • First-time clients

  • Stress relief

  • General muscle tension

  • Relaxation and improved sleep

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It uses slower strokes and firm pressure to release chronic muscle tension and tightness.

It may feel more intense than Swedish massage but is highly effective for long-term tension relief.

BEST FOR

  • Chronic pain

  • Muscle stiffness

  • Postural issues

  • Old injuries

Sports Massage

Sports massage is designed for active individuals and athletes. It combines stretching, deep tissue techniques, and targeted work to improve performance and reduce injury risk.

It can be tailored for warm-up, recovery, or rehabilitation.

BEST FOR

  • Pre- or post-event recovery

  • Improving flexibility

  • Reducing muscle soreness

  • Injury prevention

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point massage targets specific tight areas within muscle tissue, often called "knots," that can cause pain in other parts of the body (referred pain).

Pressure is applied directly to the trigger point to help release and reset the muscle.

BEST FOR

  • Muscle knots

  • Tension headaches

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Repetitive strain

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage uses supportive positioning and gentle, adapted techniques to ease the tension pregnancy places on the body.

Side-lying positioning with bolsters and cushions keeps you comfortable and supported throughout the session.

BEST FOR

  • Lower back discomfort

  • Hip and glute tightness

  • Leg heaviness and tired calves

  • Neck and shoulder tension

  • General fatigue and difficulty relaxing

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release uses slow, sustained pressure and stretching to work with fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and links muscles throughout the body.

The technique helps restricted tissue gradually soften and lengthen, allowing the body to move more freely.

BEST FOR

  • Stiffness that keeps returning

  • Restricted range of motion

  • Pulling or tethered sensations

  • Long-standing tightness from old injuries or posture

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage uses smooth, heated basalt stones alongside hands-on massage strokes to help muscles release more readily than pressure alone.

The warmth helps soften tightly held tissue, allowing for broader, more comfortable pressure throughout the session.

BEST FOR

  • Chronic muscular tension

  • Cold-weather stiffness

  • Stress and difficulty settling

  • Sensitivity to deep pressure

  • Sleep difficulty linked to physical tension

Ortho-Bionomy

Ortho-Bionomy uses gentle positioning and support rather than force, moving the body into positions of comfort and allowing the nervous system to release held patterns.

There is no deep pressure, thrusting, or stretching into discomfort, making it suitable for areas that are sensitive to direct work.

BEST FOR

  • Recurring tension

  • Areas too tender for direct work

  • Joint discomfort and restricted movement

  • Bodies that brace or guard against pressure

  • Post-injury sensitivity

  • Chronic pain patterns where deep work aggravates rather than eases
